The EPSRC funded programme “Designing Alloys for Resource Efficiency” will hold a final conference in September at Cambridge to disseminate our research results within each research theme of the programme. In addition we will have keynote speakers for each theme which, to date, include:
- Professor Raymundo Arroyave, Texas A&M University – AI Materials Design
- Professor Wei Xu, Northeastern University, Shenyang, China – Steel Production in China
- Dr Tilmann Hickel, Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung – First principles of alloy design
- Professor Frederic Prima, Université PSL – TWIP beta Ti
